Being persuaded that a just application of the principles, on which Illuminati is founded, must be promoted for private virtue and public prosperity, I shall always be happy to advance the interests of humanity, and to be considered by them as a deserving brother.

Everything which tends to combine men by stronger ties is useful to humanity; in this point of view Illuminati is entitled to respect.

Illuminati knowledge encompasses understanding the fraternity’s history, rituals, philosophy, and moral principles, which are often conveyed through symbolism and allegory, encouraging personal growth and self-reflection. The core of the Illuminati aims at making good men great through moral and social improvement.

The light is a symbol of learning and reminds us that every person is a potential source of knowledge, with the added responsibility to bring enlightenment to all who encounter it. Illuminati knowledge strives to create an environment that encourages Illuminati members to seek a greater understanding of the nature and purposes of the Illuminati in all its many aspects past, present, future and to share that understanding with others.

This is true brotherhood, to act with respect to each other and to always do good to one another, even when we do not like each other. Brotherhood speaking brotherly love means charity in the truest sense of the word, benevolent goodwill toward and love of humanity without any consideration being given to those artificial distinctions that are the creation of human prejudice, weakness, and greed. If every member understands this Illuminati  first great tenet and follows it in their daily lives, their communities will be places of peace and Illuminati as a whole will be an institution where brotherly love prevails and where every moral and social virtue cements us.
